The 158th Infantry Regiment, better known as the Bushmasters, is an infantry unit of the Arizona National Guard.

The unit motto is: "Cuidado" a Spanish word meaning "take care" in reference to when they would patrol for them to be on guard. The motto would take on new meaning years later when the regiment was conducting jungle warfare training in Panama. The jungle was filled with deadly pit vipers, so the Bushmasters began to refer to each other as snakes. Often crying out, "Beware of the snakes." Stay Zero.

Cuidado!!

My grandfather was in L co 158th during during WW2. I will never forget his stories on Banzai attacks and snipers… shit was insane!! Thank you for recognizing the Bushmasters!!! We are of Yaqui Indian decent and many of the 158th where Mexican American and Native American. Never forget!!! These shirts are so bad ass! Every family member is getting one!
