HOW TO TRIM YOUR BELT 1. Open the belt holder on the back of the buckle. This releases the webbing so you can pull it through the buckle. 2. Put the belt on and adjust it until it fits the way you want. 3. Leave 5–6 inches of belt sticking past the buckle. This is the part of the belt that will remain visible as the belt tongue. 4. Find the other end of the belt — the end WITHOUT the leather cap. This is the ONLY end you should cut. 5. Mark where you need to cut to remove the extra length. 6. Take the belt off and cut straight across your mark with sharp scissors. 7. Feed the cut end back through the buckle and close the belt holder. IMPORTANT: Do not cut the leather-capped end. No sewing, melting, or heat sealing is needed after cutting.
