Camouflage
From iconic U.S. patterns to obscure camouflage pulled from conflicts and militaries around the world.
Military history has been part of our DNA since day one. We take inspiration from the uniforms, equipment, artwork, camouflage, stories, and personalities that have shaped generations of military culture, then reinterpret them for life today.
Stay Zero.
Our inspiration doesn't come from one branch, one era, or even one country.
We study military history from around the world, pulling details from vintage camouflage patterns, field uniforms, aircraft, insignia, equipment, and utilitarian gear that was designed first and foremost to do a job.
But we're not interested in making costumes or museum reproductions. We take the details, materials, colors, construction, and stories that stand out to us and turn them into products that make sense today.
From iconic U.S. patterns to obscure camouflage pulled from conflicts and militaries around the world.
Functional design has a way of surviving generations. We rework those ideas into pieces built for how people live today.
Unit art, nose art, personalities, dark humor, and forgotten pieces of military history become the starting point for original ZF graphics.
We Don't Recreate the Past. We Take What Still Matters and Build It for Today.
Long before it became one of the products Zero Foxtrot was known for, the Woobie had already earned legendary status.
Officially known as the military poncho liner, it emerged during the Vietnam era as a lightweight, quick-drying alternative to the traditional wool blanket. Simple by design, it proved remarkably useful in the field. It could provide warmth, pack down small, dry quickly, and be used as everything from a blanket and sleeping layer to an improvised shelter.
Somewhere along the way, troops gave it a better name: the Woobie.
The exact origin of the nickname is still debated. The affection for it isn't.
We took that familiar quilted construction and started asking what else it could become. Blankets led to hoodies, jackets, pants, vests, and other pieces that carry the same unmistakable Woobie DNA.
Zero Foxtrot is proudly based in Austin, Texas.
Our creative team develops our graphics in-house, from original concepts to deep cuts pulled from military history, vintage artwork, archival references, and the stranger corners of our collective imagination.
We obsess over the same details on the product side. Fabrics, washes, camouflage, fit, hardware, pockets, construction, and the little things that can turn a basic piece into something worth keeping.
We make products we want to wear ourselves.
Supporting the military, veteran, and first responder communities has always been part of Zero Foxtrot. For us, honoring the past means more than printing it on a shirt.
Current and former U.S. military members and first responders can receive 20% off through GovX ID.
We work with veteran organizations on projects that can make a tangible impact. That includes our partnership with Task Force Garrison and its Bright Light Continuum mission, supporting efforts to locate and account for Americans still missing from the Vietnam War.
A lot changes from one generation to the next. The equipment changes. The uniforms change. The camouflage changes. The conflicts change.
But toughness, dark humor, camaraderie, sacrifice, and the ability to keep moving forward tend to survive.
Those are the stories and ideas Zero Foxtrot was built around.
We make gear for people who appreciate where it came from, whether they served themselves, grew up around those who did, love military history, or simply recognize something good when they see it.
Stay Zero.
