Tac Pants

I will preface the review by saying that I have bought two pairs of these pants; one tan and one green, and they both are magnificently crafted pants. However, there seems to be two different models you might get. One seems to be a like a 50/50 cotton & polyester texture and has smaller ankle straps (green) and the another (tan) is actually straight up soft ripstop texture with a bigger velcro strap, but they're both ripstop construction, it's just the feel and miniscule details that's a bit off between the pairs.

Down to the details, the upper front pockets are pretty deep, so if you're a packrat you'll appreciate that alot. The side pockets are very useful, as you have an abundance of items you can cram in them. For reference I was able to carry a sunscreen bottle in one pocket and a few cans of soda in the other, and managed to close both seamlessly at one point while out on the lake, so I'd say that's pretty impressive. The side cargo pockets also have some pretty decent space in them too, I was able to fit my iPhone in the biggest pocket and my pocket knife in the other comfortably. In terms of them being used for hiking or a day out at the range, they have a lot of room where it matters, and are very flexible with how you move. The legs will need some adjusting if you are anything below a 32L, as they'll snag underneath your foot pretty easy, but once adjusted they're pretty comfortable. They sit very comfortably at the waist, thanks to the elastic in the waistband (…
