Each set includes a museum-quality reproduction of:
2025 End of WWII 80th Anniversary Coin. commemorates eight decades since the conclusion of the deadliest conflict in human history, marking the Allied victory that reshaped the modern world. Front side features the USS Missouri with Victory “V” in stars and stripes and the famous Headline “WAR IS OVER”. Back Side features a miniature replica of the plaque from USS Missouri, marking the Location of the Japanese Surrender signed on her deck on Sunday Sept, 2, 1945.
Japanese Surrender on USS Missouri, Attendance Certificate. One of the chief desires of all the persons attending the ceremony was to have a souvenir as a symbol of the ceremony. An official card, bearing the signatures of representatives of the United States, was devised to attest to the presence of an individual attending the ceremony. The souvenir cards immediately caught the eye of all visiting dignitaries, and nearly everyone aboard the ship received one.
Officers Large Notebook with 3 Pencils. A notebook is essential for military leaders—perfect for taking notes during the signing of the official Instrument of Surrender. The notebook’s emblem, directly reproduced from an original Army design, features a bald eagle, an American shield, a crossed sword, and a writing quill, symbolizing that "the pen is mightier than the sword." Measuring approximately 5.5 by 8.25 inches, the notebook features 30 lined pages and a thick, paper-covered spine, faithful to the WWII style. Each notebook comes with three plain, unpainted pencils, without erasers, just like those commonly issued during World War II.
D-Day Cricket (with hole and string).
While not part of the surrender ceremony, we wanted to include something unique in our End of WWII set. The D-Day Cricket is an iconic tool used by the 101st Airborne during the Normandy invasion, with one "click" answered by two "clicks." Our replica features authentic details, including the brass case, deep oval thumbprint, and blackened steel snapping plate with the correct dent size. It produces the same loud, sharp "crick-crack" as the originals. The replica accurately omits the “Acme Company” embossed logo, reflecting wartime production when logos were often skipped to expedite delivery to troops. Crickets were not issued with holes or lanyards, but soldiers improvised using an 8-penny nail and parachute cord. We’ve added these nail-punched holes with the proper cording for realism.
This set belongs to all who genuinely believe in Zero Life.
