Packable Zero Rain Shell

I love this rain shell, the design is great and the materials are premium!

The shell design means there is plenty of room for layering, but even by itself, the rain coat drapes very well, has a sleek design and doesn't look or feel like a tent.

Downside, placket that holds the zipper is super stiff (helps the jacket hold its shape), but because of this it gets caught in the zipper A LOT, and make the jacket hard to zip up unless the zipper and placket are lined up straight.

I still 10/10 recommend this jacket. More upside than downside.

When I bought it, I thought I was gonna have to baby it but this thing is tough while still being breathable so you don’t sweat.

Conveniently enough, this jacket arrived for me right at the beginning of basically a week of heavy rain and storms in my area, so I got to put it through the ropes immediately, and it's awesome! Even in the absolute sideways-rain downpour wind we had soon after this came in, it kept me dry. It's comfortable, fits me well, and does great at blocking the wind. Zipped up pockets kept stuff inside dry, too. It packs up pretty easily, and the carabiner clip has actually been pretty convenient for clipping onto a pack, MOLLE, or a belt loop. Hood fits well over a hat and ear pro.
